Okay - I saw an ad for a Christmas Mickey Mouse Clubhouse DVD coming out this month. I need to get that and I need to get it from you (if I have to use my MOM's credit card until we close, I will because that's just a necessity!) Do you have a link?
Also, I saw the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse toy and Morgan has already told us that Santa is bringing this to her for Christmas (and that's all she wants...yeah, right), soooo.... can I get that from you too?
Here is the link for toys - it actually takes you directly to amazon but we get credit for it:<A href="http://www.amazon.com/s/102-8991775-6344964?ie=UTF8&keywords=mickey%20mouse%20clubhous e&tag=whiteoakbooks-20&index=blended&link%5Fcode=qs">http://www.amazon.com/s/102-8991775-6344964?ie=UTF8&keywords=mickey%20mouse%20clubhous e&tag=whiteoakbooks-20&index=blended&link%5Fcode=qs
For the DVD preorder:

For some reason the items don't come up on our Disney site, but you can get them through our book site, so those are the links I gave you.

Thank goodness, I like the selections on-line better. I am most worried about that! At least this time I'll have a metro area to shop in, that should help a bit as well!
Yep, you will be very close to shopping!

Okay - this is so terrible, but this Mickey Mouse Clubhouse playset is selling out/or sold out everywhere and the prices are absolutely ridiculous. Well, this is one of only 2 things Morgan has asked to have for Christmas.
So, after researching this for the past 2 hours, I had to buy it on ebay (on a Buy it Now feature to ensure I get it...along with the darn figures...ugh!) I never thought I'd do something like this, I figured I'd just wait until AFTER Christmas and get it when the prices went back down to normal (I did get a good price though.) Boy won't Bryan be surprised. How in the world could I risk my only child being disappointed for Christmas?
At least I've got it done before escrow officially opens. I can take care of the rest later.

I can't believe that's sold out where you are! We still had plenty at our Wal-mart last time I looked. I'm glad you got it for her though. I am the same way when it comes to what my girls want from Santa!

Man, you're kidding!!! Even Walmart online was saying sold out!!! If they have them - get them (each and every one and sell them on Ebay for less than the others are and you will still make yourself a nice little profit for donating or gifts or whatever!)

I didn't know it was so popular. I mean I love the new show and think it's very cute but my girls have seen the toys in the store and didn't say they had to have it. It has been a few days since I saw them, I wonder if they'll be gone by the day after Thanksgiving?
I thought the stuffed Mickey holding the small keyboard was quite cute. Have you seen that one?

Only on tv and online - they also have 8 figures (talking ones that work with the clubhouse) and a counting car. There was also a Mickey glove that did something - can't remember that feature. I didn't get the rest - just the Clubhouse and figures. If your girls are interested, don't wait if you can...I was shocked.
I remember old toys being popular and adults fighting over them in stores in years past, but I guess I just didn't expect this. The TMX Elmo is going that direction as well.
Silly Shawna - don't you know you could have called me? lol

Not at 3am Leanne - you wouldn't have appreciated that. I did find a good deal, and it still beat everything through Amazon. I am just so disappointed that people do stuff like this with kids toys!!!
No your right a 3am call would have scared the you know what out of me. lol So, thanks for NOT calling. lol

You're welcome! Can you imagine?
"Hello?" "Hi, it's Shawna" "What the???" "I need a clubhouse" "What? Is something wrong" - "yes, I need a clubhouse and they're all sold out and they're at more than double the price and I checked Walmart, and I checked Target, and I checked Amazon, and...but there's this one on ebay and do you think?"
Click - see - you would have killed me.

Well, you're gonna laugh when you hear what I did last night.
I got the rest of the stuff on Morgan's list (I got everything through the site that I could too!)
Since we still don't have an answer on our offer on the CO house and we're gonna be out of here pretty soon, I know the date is going to be pushed back on closing there and with escrow it's driving me nuts not having a closing date. I can't miss Christmas for my Morgan. Everyone else can wait but not my Morgan!
So, I've got the list I need for the other kids (which are all going to be gift cards this year) and my parents when we get done with this whole thing.
Awww Shawna! I hope you hear about the house soon!

You and me both!!! We close on our current house on the 1st - that's 8 days from now! Our stuff is being packed and moved out (stored or transported we don't quite know for sure yet...)
The date we requested for the CO closing is the 6th, which is going to be close to impossible now. IF we hear tomorrow (because still nothing today...) then we have to schedule the inspection (previously wanted to do that this coming Monday) - with the Holiday we can't get this done in time and will have to move this because water in that house needs to be turned on first! So....the date is moving and we don't know what it's moving to...ugh!!!! Hurry up already, I am too old to live with my parents. A week vaca is one thing, no more please!

Besides, don't they KNOW what they're doing to a planner like me?
What the heck do people do without a microwave and stuf when you have a toddler? There aren't hotels around our area here like there are in metro areas. This is going to be very tricky. A 2 year old and a dog just don't work in a small hotel room for long.
Shawna, that would be hard, but if you want a story from someone who did survive in a hotel for a while, here you go:
In 1972 we moved from South Carolina to Colorado. Our house was not yet finished, so we had to spend time in a hotel. Keep in mind, I am one of 4 children, and my sister was under a year old at the time.
We stayed in a hotel on Colfax (a totally different place back then. lol) for a whole month. The time frame? We were there from early December until early January. I remember the time clearly for some reason. I got a record player from Santa that year, and was so impressed he found us in the hotel!
So, if you have to do it, you WILL be okay. I actually think of that time fondly for some reason.
But on the other side, I am praying you hear soon, and don't have to do that!

I certainly understand hotel living. That's the whole reason we ended up here in No. Cal 9 years ago. We hadn't seen each other in 6 months! Bryan was traveling on business and living out of hotels - mainly in west Texas. I was travelling on business from Colorado back and forth to California and Virginia. On the last occassion, I was in a hotel for 2 months and Bryan was in one for 5 months, while we had a house in Colorado and my parents had my dog. We decided enough was enough and 6 months not seeing each other at all wasn't okay with us.
I'm not so concerned about being able to do it, but having a washer/dryer/microwave/fridge and the ability to clean things my way and myself is what I need to have to feel okay about it all. Plus a dog in a hotel just isn't fantastic. Neither is a toddler for that length of time - at least there are some residence inn type places, we'll have to figure out what we can get and do soon. I would just like an address and the ability to plan how much clothing, toys, etc. to keep with us.
I guess I'll just be thankful that we have the ability to afford a place to live since I know so many don't. Still - I wish they'd step on it!!!
I completely understand. I can't believe that bank has not gotten back to you yet!

Yeah, you'd think they want the $$$ closed on their books quickly, but hey, welcome to corporate America!
