Do we have any Disney Pin Collectors ??

Never thought I'd be one, until I got there & took a tour & received 2 free ones......then I went nuts & bought like crazy !!
Are there any other pin collectors out there ???

We didn't trade any.. although we did buy a bunch while we were there.

I am going to make each of the kids a little hanger thing to put up in their rooms with the ones they chose.

I ended up buying a tinkerbell 50th lanyard ( the day after they were released) and it came with 2 of each pin - one with the 1955 and one with 2005. So I have a couple of doubles. I also had bought some on ebay prior to going in case we wanted to trade... but it never really seemed like a bit thing for us so we still have all of those.

I like the pins, but don't trade. This year for the first time, I bought NO pins on our trip. I did buy 2 special things for lanyards that I liked though.
I tend to collect the item you don't see everywhere: buttons. I have an extensive collection of those. (referred to on ebay as button/pins (not to be confused with buttons for clothing))

I ended up with the same tinkerbell lanyard with free pin collection pouch....... i did trade off the 2nd of each of those pins & from our tour (7 in our group), derek was the only one that had a pin he wanted to keep, so I got all the rest.....well most of us were given doubles, so these were easy to trade off for me & the tour guide told me to look for "managers" because they usually had the best ones....... i found a tinkerbell with a hinged/spring wing that is glittery!!!! I absolutely love it, looked it up on dizpins.com & its from 2002 but still felt I had found a beautiful pin.
I think all in all, I ended up with around 45 pins.....so yes.....I think I went a bit crazy since only 14 of them were free.....lol

Dang Dreamer, I totally forgot to tell you. There are Disney Pins in specially marked packages of Energizer batteries!

I have 2 of them, the Mickey & Minnie one & the Tinkerbell fireworks one......but I've yet to see them here :(
I did just get the 50th starter lanyard with the 8 pins on it in the mail from Delivears !!!! I never saw it on our trip & its beautiful !!! :)

Yep, I collect. I have yet to trade but only because I want all the ones I've got!! My little brother likes them though and I'm getting hime some for when we go (except the 50th one he can't trade, it's Goofy riding in a gold Autotopia car). I also got my neice a princess starter one with 4 pins (2 duplicate sets) and I'm trying to get a tinkerbell one for my other neice. She's still too young to really get into it but she's old enough that if her sister has it, she wants it to, besides, I don't mind spoiling them!!;)

I am not sure if I would really get into the pin collecting/trading thing...but am wondering if my soon to be 4 year old could be interested when we went to WDW this fall...or is he too little still?
