If this is your first vacation with a baby or toddler, you have come to the right place! Post your questions. We have done 2 vacations to Disneyland with Alex, and one to San Diego. This June will be his 3rd trip to Disneyland and he won't be three until September.

So, post your questions, we can help you out!

If you have tips and hints even if it is unrelated to Disney, post them here as well. This forum is to get help and give help to those with questions, and travelling with a baby or toddler induces many questions. So, definitely post your tips!

We just recently returned from a wedding in Washington...the drive was about 13 hours with kids. My car was running badly and I didn't want to take it because we all would have been so smooshed and was affraid of it breaking down. So we decided to take my husbands truck. We rented a shell for it, now problem two...how were we going to keep them entertained? I know they are coming out with those portable dvd players, etc etc, but for a family on a budget that was not an option for us. We went to Wally World and realized that we could buy and electric converter, it plugs right into your ciggarette lighter and makes electric off of your battery. We paid about 40 bux for it and it was so well worth the money. Then we ran an extension coard from the lighter to the back of the truck and plugged their little 13 inch tv/vcr combo into it. Let me tell you it worked like a charm. We blew up our camping air mattress so that they could have something comfy to lay/sleep on. Along with their coloring books, crayons, books, and games. Then I filled a cooler with food and juice for them so that they could have snacks. Let me tell you this was the absolute best road trip of my life with my kids. It's amazing how you can be "thrify" and still be cozy. My kids were so happy with being in the back! They were also more well behaved...and had much more room to do what they wanted.
