This has come up so many times over the years... Why do they not wear pants??? Surely some could be made for their little tails to stick out freely.

I think Daisy would look very cute in a liitle tennis skirt!
This got me thinking about Winnie the Pooh and gang. Pooh doesn't wear pants either. Roo only wears a shirt. Kanga only has an apron, and the rest of them don't wear anything! Why is this? I understand that they are animals so they don't really need clothes, but why put some clothes on some and none on the others? Hmmm...
Look what you've started Shawna! LOL

I think because Disney didn't want to humanize them too much maybe? We never see or hear of any of them going to the bathroom either.
Now, keep in mind, this is a cartoon. lol :)
While the stories have remained the same through the years, I think Disney is simply afraid to make the change and put them in pants.

lol Shawna. I think, in all honesty, I would be one of the people freaking out if they put pants on those characters. I have loved them for far to long as they are. I don't LIKE change ;)

The original Pooh was naked, back before Disney bought him.

I don't get why some has clothes and others don't. I find it weird too.

Any idea why Christopher Robin's hair used to be cut like a girl? In those old pics, don't remember too many boys looking like that back then! lol...

My son who is 5 is very smart. He said it's because they are ducks and they need to swim in water so they can't have pants.

Winnie The Pooh was a nudist at one time but, once the others started to make fun of his adnormal man bear breasts it was time for a shirt.

I'm pretty sure that's what happend Sarahanne. LoL.
The REAL Winnie the pooh bear was actually a female. She was owned by a Canadian solider who named her after the city he was from, Winnipeg....which is the city I'm from:P There's a statue of her somewhere in our zoo....I find it so weird, we have a statue for a bear that was Europeanized then Americanized but we don't have a statue of Canadian heroes that SHOULD have a statue.
BTW, what's a pooh?

I'm with ya! I'm still not really pleased about a girl hangin' out with Pooh and Friends instead of Christopher Robin.
