Golden Ears

For those of you that already have Mickey Mouse Ears with your name on them, I wanted to let you know that you need to be prepared to purchase another pair.
This year, for the 50th Anniversary, there will be Gold Mickey Mouse Ears. There will be so many made that they are worth nothing, but, for the Disney Collector, you have got to get them.
Just thought I would let you know.

Yep, something made me think of these today for some reason. So, I already sent an email to vacation planning to see if they can pick some up for me. Think of the memories we will have from our trip with those and other things like pictures and so on.

We are having a pair each for Sarah and Phil waiting for us in our room upon arrival.

They are pretty nice looking.. we first saw them in the Alaska Airlines debut of the new Tinkerbell plane... Wouldn't it be cool if we got to ride on it??

I remember actually getting to ride the Mickey Mouse bus from LAX to our Anaheim hotel once. Just once. It was so fun. lol

Another really old thread, but hey ... :D
We got my MIL a pair of golden ears for her birthday last year. We had them stitch in opening day on them, since my MIL was there that day. She loved it.
Then for my ILs 50th anniversary this past July, all of the family celebrated at Disneyland. My SIL got both of my ILs the "bride &amp; groom" ears for that.

You know -- I do have one of them with their anniversary ears, but I'm trying to find it. With 2 different laptops and an office computer, it has to be here somewhere. LOL! I'll try to post it when I find it. It might be on Rick's laptop though, which is in CA. If so, I'll have him send it to me and I can put it up that way.

Man, I have so many picture files. What in the world am I to do with them all? If I got into scrapbooking, it would be a full-time job! Anyway, found some pics of the anniversary. Both my ILs are in their 70s and celebrated their 50th WA this past summer at Disneyland. We tried to get them to go to Yosemite or somewhere "pretty", but nooooooo -- LOL!

I saw it the last time I was at CA Adventure. LOL @ me never seeing it before, since I've lived in Ojai for over 40 years! It's in the sunglass store -- that big dinosaur shaped one.

Awwww, I think you may have opened a new door for Rena. You see, she is one of the best photographers I have ever met. I haven't really met a lot of photographers. I actually only know 3. But Out of all of them, Rena takes the most amazing pictures. So giving her a gallery was a very good thing for us all!
And I have the gold sequined ears. :D

It's so hard to pick ears. I haven't done it since I was a kid because I have this feeling like that's MY set and I don't want to undo their luck! lol - weird!

I bought 4 pairs of the gold ears when we were last there in June, 2005. Plus I bought an aetnna ball that has gold ears too. I'll have to check out the gallery too. I have TONS of Disney pictures and Wiggle concert pics too.
