Any suggestions on the best place to purchase a Disney Princess costume? I have found some gorgeous looking ones at Disney online, but as we will be in DL soon I am wondering if it would be better/cheaper to wait until we get there...

There are a few spots around to get them. I thought they were very expensive at the parks (somewhere in the $75 range).

We have bought a belle dress at the Disney store before, but I think the quality was not great and it had that itchy tulle stuff....

That being said, you can get them online through

I stumbled on another company that makes look a likes and sells on either ebay or direct... The dresses are wonderful, very light and easy to move around in, (I got 5 dresses and a cape in one large ziplock bag for our trip to DL in June), and they are machine washable. The material is very soft and they are easy to get on and off.... (no I don't work for them ;)).

You can find the online store at:

or her ebay store at:

Thank you so much for that info! I will be following those links and pre-buying. I had a feeling that if we left it until we reached the park I would end up spending more than I had hoped. This has really saved me! Thanks again for your time.

Chelle, you can also buy them from our website, click on the link for Disney Store and search on the character dress you want. These ones are sold through Amazon.com and there are some wonderful dresses at very inexpensive (under $20) prices.
