Hi there!
We got my son the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse playset for Christmas. He loves it! Unfortunately, it's not the sturdiest toy out there. And last night, his "Toodles" accessory was broken. I would like to contact the manufacturer to get a replacement part if possible -- but can't find their contact information anywhere on the web! Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Mouseguy! Welcome to the boards! We bought the same toy for our 2 year old for Christmas and it's a huge hit, but you're right - not the best made. Where did you buy it? I'd start there and see if they can help you. We got ours through an Ebayer because they were all gone, so if it were me, I'd probably try Toys R Us to see if they could get me manufacturer info.

We got ours at Wal-Mart. It was tough to find! Huge demand this year! But, honestly, compared to my 3 yr old's Fisher Price toys it really is a very, very cheaply made product. Nothing stays together, and the plastic even feels cheap. :(
He loves it though, and was upset when his part broke. Unfortunately, I can't find Character Direct Ltd's contact info anywhere. Which is surprising -- the Disney license is huge!

I know, it was terrible trying to find them - we paid way too much but that's one of only 2 things she asked for - and the reaction on Christmas was well worth it! I'm really disappointed in the quality as well, it's pretty pathetic and the slide won't stay on at all!!! Or the yellow room part for the other side!! How many of the characters did you get? Have you noticed that they don't do a lot of talking unless they're with the RIGHT character they came with? A couple of the characters have barked in their own voices in Pluto's spot - lol, kind of funny.
Go back to Wal-Mart and ask them to exchange the part. They're still decent on customer service. If you're nice but firm about it, they'll take care of it. For the money you paid, insist on it!

Wal-Mart will exchange a single part? Huh... thought I'd have to return the whole thing.
We only got one extra pack of characters (Goofy and Cowboy Donald) mainly due to the fact that we thought they were so poorly made. This toy really is like something out of the '70s. I'd have expected something much better for such a high profile kid's show. :(
And yes, Donald barks and Goofy sounds a little like Minnie... ;)
Have you thought about contacting Disney directly?
If this is the item I think it is, the Disney Store also sold it - so you might want to give them a call.
Also, do you still have the box? Usually the box or directions will have some sort of contact information.
Welcome to the DML message boards MouseGuy (love the name), I wish I could be of more help!

Yes, to keep customers happy sometimes they will exchange a part and take care of the rest themselves between their store and their distributor, whomever THEY got it from. Likely ANOTHER middle man before the manufacturer.
I didn't see them at the Disney store at all - in person or on-line - when I was trying to find one for Morgan. Is it the shopping site Leanne? Let me know because I'm still trying to find the last set of characters (long story, there was a mix-up in our shipment and we got a duplicate but since it includes Minnie I'm keeping it in case she goes missing - can't have that, you know!)
If your son likes the characters - they are better made than the Clubhouse - Morgan pretty much carries those around with her non-stop.
Shawna - our Disney Store had the clubhouse. Alex really wanted it when he saw it. Is it possible that there are TWO clubhouses? I should have looked at the picture of the one you bought on ebay!

I don't think so, I'm pretty sure there's only one.
That's what I thought. Then I would definitely try calling a Disney store. The one in Park Meadows did have them.

Wow - our shopping was limited in CA and the online stuff was all sold out - maybe they took them off the website at that point.

We'd only seen them twice here in PA at our local Wal-Mart. The stores haven't gotten any back in since at least mid-December. Seems to be sold out online as well.
Do you have a local Disney Store MouseGuy?
I sure wish I had something else I could tell you!

Hi there!
Did you ever find a way to get a replacement Toodles for your Mickey Mouse Talking Clubhouse? My daughter broke hers and I can't find any info for Character Direct, either. The new figures have a website of character-direct.com, but when I type it in, access is forbidden. I tried contacting Disney and their Guest Services was completely useless and unable to give a direct answer! I have electrical tape completely wrapped around Toodles' legs and it still keeps breaking. My daughter won't give up on it, though. I'd really like to get her a new Toodles.
Wow, I am so sorry you guys are having such a hard time. I sure wish I could help you!

Just wondering if you were ever able to contact Character Direct LTD or get a replacement "toodles" from anyone? I just came across you're discussion while looking online for a way to find my son a new toodles. Please let me know if you had any luck! Thanks.
Wow, I am so sorry you are having issues with your Toodles, but I do recommend you try the address above. Alex has had no problem with his, which is amazing since he plays rough with his toys.
Good luck!

OK this was no small task to research this. We had a broken MM clubhouse toy and we wanted to get a replacement part.
Character Direct, Ltd is a subsidiary of Li & Fung USA (www.lfusa.com). They have an office in New York City, and their number is 642.562.5000.
We mailed the part to the Broadway address and no response in 3 weeks.
I was concerned that this just disappeared into a black hole, so I called. The Li & Fung office is located at this address:
1372 Broadway, 2nd Floor
New York NY 10018
I called and was able to get in touch with someone. They told me that they would ship us a replacement.
I have no idea whether you can get piecemeal replacement parts or not.

My son also lost his toodles and we need a replacement soon! He is special needs and has zoned in on this character. He takes it to bed with him, so we have had a sleepless night. I did some research and found out that character direct is a subsidiary of the Li-Fung Group. I tracked them down to their local address which is: 1359 Broadway, 21/F, New York, NY 10018 Tel: 646-839-7000.
I placed a phone call and was forwarded to the voice mail of a Meredith Kendell. I left a detailed message and am hoping to hear back soon. I will advise if I am successful.
Next step is to approach my local Disney Store.
Good luck to all those searching out there!

I noticed at Target they carry various pieces of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse stuff (from little people type pieces to the big giant clubhouse thing)...
