Were you as happy as I was when Disney and Pixar made up? lol I have to say I love them all too (least fav is bugs life - but I don't 'dislike' it). The movies are all well made, tell a story, have a moral, and are total fiction. Gotta love them!

They are amazing. I'm quite sentimental about Monster's though because this was the first full length movie that Corinne really got into. She watched it all the time and she would even scream just like Boo whenever that part was on. It was so funny!
I also went on a double date to see Toy Story. I don't really remeber my date but I was with my best friend and I love Disney movies! But I like Toy Story 2 even more!!
The Incredibles is such an "incredible" (ha ha) take on super heroes!
I could go on and on...I have yet to see Disney Pixar NOT make an amazing and fun movie!!

Yep, I have to agree.
I think the next movie Alex will see in the theaters is the new Disney/Pixar venture: Ratatuille or something like that. lol It looks quite cute.
Meet the Robinson's looks fun, but may be way to old for Alex.

Corinne loves the preview to Ratatouille and can't wait to see it at the theater. Santa just brought her 2 rats for Christmas so she is very excited to see a movie about rats (cute ones)!!!

Sorry I took so long to respond! I forgot I posted here!!!
Corinne absolutely LOVES her rats. She asks to hold them first thing in the morning until it's time for school, then the minute she gets home until bedtime!! They are a huge hit with her neighbor friends and cousin too!
It's funny but our whole family loves them. THey have the cutest little personalities! When we let them out to crawl around they always explore for a bit but then go right back to Corinne. They love to sit on her shoulder and Twinkle is always trying to kiss her!! She takes really good care of them too!
It grosses some people out because of their tails but honestly, for $3.OO--I've never found a better pet for a 5 yr old.

I've heard of a LOT of families with them, only seen one in person. It's not so bad, honestly I'd rather it be that than a snake or spider...

Trey wanted a snake for the longest time and I refused. One I could never stand to feed it or clean the cage because I know I would be the one doing it. So we settled for the gecko and I really don't mind it. He isn't slimy or anything like it. And I can actually handle feeding him the crickets. And Trey loves the fact that he shakes his tail like a rattlesnake before he attacks the crickets.

That's not too bad, but I don't want one of those either. Snakes aren't actually slimy either, but no thanks.

I read something interesting this weekend.
Did you guys know that the CEO of Pixar is none other than Steve Jobs? I was amazed to read that.
A potential trivia question. lol

Who's Steve Jobs? I guess I'm out of the loop!!

Steve Jobs was the co-founder of Apple (computers) and was the CEO of Pixar until it's acquisition by Disney - he's not there anymore. He's still the largest shareholder of Disney and one of the Board of Directors. He's back at Apple now though!

I can't really decide what my favorite pixar movie is,i love them all. When DD was little everyone said she looked exactly like Boo so Monsters will always be special. Monsters inc the ride rocks. I loved the Incredibles,Toy storys, cars.
I can't wait to see meet the robinsons, but must see it in Disney 3D. I saw the previews in 3D before Nightmare before christmas 3D. It was awesome.

I was really happy with the Monster's ride--especially because it is a ride in CA that kids can ride without having to go to a Bug's land!! Both of my girls loved the ride.
Can't wait for the Finding Nemo ride!!!!! I'm planning my trip around it!

Oh I know Katie! CA is nice but so frustrating because there's still so little for small kids!!! Bug's Land is great, but I don't feel the need to walk across the entire park just for a carousel to be the only other thing we can ride!!!

I completely agree Shawna!! But I do like all of the shows in CA. It can be a nice break from rides sometimes. But what I love about DL is that next to every ride one of my girls can't do is one that they CAN!! WE loved hanging out and switching daughters and rides between Pooh and Splash Mountain! Scott would take Corinne on Splash while I did Pooh with Makenna and then we'd switch and I'd ride Splash w/ Corinne while Scott rode with kenna. Same with Matterhorn and Alice,etc...
CA could bring in some more kid friendly rides and take out some of their carnival rides! (But that's just my opinion!)

The Monsters Inc ride in CA Adventure is really cute. They did a good job with that one. :)
A Bug's Land has issues. Last time we were there, they finally lowered the height limit on the bumper cars. If you're going to make a place for little kids, why put rides that have limitations? Argh! And why put the Tower of Terror right by it so the little kids can hear all the screaming? Sheesh.
Okay -- rant over. :P

I'm going to have to pay attention to the screaming, I haven't even noticed it yet (of course we aren't there much...)
I was pleasantly surprised this past time that Morgan could do the bumpers cars and she loved it! Actually though, I'd sure like to see them work on their height requirements throughout the park. I'm all for safety, but Morgan is HUGE for her age - she's the same size as most kids who are 3 or 4. Now, I didn't see any concerns on the bumper cars BUT when I thought of all the other two year olds who aren't being allowed to go on them...and not really for a reason that I can figure out.
