Yippee!!!! Love ya Sue!!! Congrats!
Thanks Leanne and Shawna!! Hello everyone!I have been cruising for over 10 years now. I have been on several different cruiselines, as well as itineraries all throughout the Carribean. I haven't been on a Disney cruise yet, but have done a lot of research about it.
Let me know if you all have any questions! I look forward to helping you plan your next CRUISE!!!!
Hugs,Sue :)

Hope you get to help me plan someday!!!
Whenever you are ready Shawna, you just let me know! At under $100/pp a day, a cruise is one of the most affordable ways to get 5 star dining, exotic locations, and total pampering all in one vacation! It is the only kind of vacation I have ever taken that when I get home, I am TOTALLY relaxed don't need a vacation from my vacation! :D

Okay - considering Disney and all the other cruise lines (I know Disney is expensive and that's a consideration for me as well), do you think a 3 or 4 year old would enjoy a cruise? What can I do with her to entertain her while cruising?
Now, we haven't taken Trey cruising yet, but we have many friends who have taken their kids on cruises and they love them. As long as you have a good cruise line with a kids program, they usually have a blast. They need to be potty trained, since they won't do the diaper thing on most of the cruises. For example, my friend's 4 year old didn't want to have dinner with mommy and daddy...she wanted to stay with her friends! They also allow you to go offshore on excursions and they keep the kids. Usually the programs are free, except the late night babysitting (ie after dinner), where they do a huge slumber party for the kids. Only a few dollars an hour, nothing more than what you would pay at home.
We are seriously considering taking Trey soon....I think it would be great fun for him.

That sounds pretty exciting but gosh I'd be hurt if she didn't want me! lol...
LOL...I know how you feel...but think of it this way...you are on vacation to do something out of the ordinary from your daily life...that is how Morgan would feel...hanging out with her new friends is something she can't do every day...so it is exciting and fun for a week....
Of course, you don't have to have her partake in the children's activities, but it appears that the parents who find the best balance are those that do a bit of both.
Now, on the Disney ship, the adults aren't even ALLOWED on one level of the ship..kids and counselors only...could you handle that? :) I think that would be the fun part of the Disney cruise for the kids...the chance to have some independent time...
And from what I know, on the Disney cruises, kids don't ever want to leave their little 'club'. One day, we will do this!
I am going to have to start working on hubby to convince him to take us on a Disney cruise....I have convinced him already that if we take Trey, he wouldn't mind not having a casino! :)

Well, considering that we are going to DL in probably about a month and in October as well, with perhaps one more trip thrown in, I haven't just yet.
I think our cruise is probably going to hit in 2008? Maybe a WDW/cruise combo.
And I am hoping for 2009!

Well Leanne, we're going back and forth between 2008 and 2009. The walking and weight of Morgan is a concern with the size of the parks.
