Disney cruises are often more expensive than some other cruise lines, but you also are paying for LOTS of extras for the kids...so it does all even out...
Disney runs 3-4 night cruises to the Bahamas out of Florida, and then 7 night cruises out of Florida to the Caribbean on alternating Eastern/Western itineraries...
Prices definitely vary according to the time of the year...and given that they don't have difficulty getting people booked, there are often not many deep discounts...You will spend at least $600pp on average on a short cruise, and over $1000pp on a longer cruise...you can occasionally find deeper discounts, and when you do, you need to pounce on it!
