If you were a single adult and going by yourself? I'm seriously considering doing this because I don't know if I can get the time off (or the money together) to take my little brother on it (we would just do like a 3 day cruise) and I don't really know anyone else that would be able to go with me (adult wise). Just curious on if anyone else would do something like that!

No probably not, mainly because if I was going on something as a single I would like the chance to meet up with other people in my situation and spend time getting to know them. I would suspect that a Disney Cruise would not have a lot of single people (could be wrong though never been on one) it would have a lot of families which are good for chatting to but maybe not as easy to join in with. I know everyone here is mad keen on Disney and wants to try out all things Disney (as do I) but if I was going to do a cruise as a single I would probably do one a bit more geared up for the single and adult market. - Not at all suggesting that it needs to be a "singles" cruise to hook up with men/women but something with like minded people. Just my opinion though and as I have never been on one I can't really say if it would suit.

Hmmmm....good question.
I don't think I would do a Disney cruise first as a single cruiser...they don't really have the entertainment forums designed for singles like other cruiselines do. My first cruise was with "the girls"..I was engaged but not married..we had a blast. Lots of singles and friends travelling together..it was a Carnival cruise. I think Carnival and Royal Carribean would be good first bets for a singles cruiser.
Unfortunately, you usually have to pay for the whole cabin...some cruiselines have special singles rates...and other cruiselines will actually do the roommate thing for you. Let me know if you want more info...I can send it on.

I would go to Disneyworld first and probably disneyland and then i would love to do a cruise, just to see what it is like! My dads uncle fred lives in southampton and we went there to visit, and dad said the disney ship was docked there one day he went for a walk round the docks and couldnt believe the size of it, i wish i saw it!
Zara...cruising is so much fun! You definitely have to take one someday!
When we were in Nassau last fall, we docked with the Disney Magic...an amazing and HUGE boat! Can you believe Disney actually got permission to have different colored lifeboats than the Coast Guard standard to make their boat colors match better???

Well, I just wanna see what a Disney cruise is all about, that's why I was wondering. Maybe I'll just kidnap some kids to take with me......any volunteers to lend me your kid(s)? LOL
I just checked, and Disney does not allow single occupancy cabins.....so you are going to have to convince SOMEONE to go with you! LOL
Maybe Leanne and Andy need to finance this so I can moderate better.....and you just deserve to go! hahaha

Lol Kirsten! Morgan was up and up and up night before last, up and happy in the middle of the night constantly, but...come on!
Danette, I won't give you Morgan, but if we can find a cabin that 3 adults and Morgan can sleep in (she sleeps with us), I'd be willing to toy with the idea of going together! I'm really curious about cruises in general and Disney of course.
My only problem is figuring out how to let go of DL or WDW as a vacation to take the cruise.
Shawna...don't forget...a Disney cruise is STILL Disney....just a floating version!!!!
Open your mind to the possibilities!

Shawna, I wouldn't mind going with ya'll, no biggie! Most of the cabins sleep at least 4 so we're good there! And I don't mind taking the fold down beds, they're bound to be better than what I was sleeping on during my last "cruise"!! LOL
I must say, that with my love of Disney, even if I was single I would still do a Disney cruise in heartbeat. I am fascinated by the restaurants, the entertainment and more. Too go on a Disney Cruise would be a dream come true for me.

Leanne, we think alike!! LOL I mean, Jake has no problems going with me but the problem is going to be time off for him, that's why I'm considering going by myself. I mean, I would WDW or DL by myslef if I had too!! LOL Although I have more fun when I'm with other people.
I do think the Disney cruise would be lots of fun....but you'll have to find someone to go with since they don't do single occupancy in the cabins...tho, I doubt you'll have a hard time convincing SOMEONE!
haha
