When you hear the word Disney, which scene from a Disney movie do you associate it with?
When I hear the word Disney, the first scene that comes to mind is the scene from Beauty and the Beast where they are dancing in the ballroom while "Tale as Old as Time" is being played. It just best describes Disney for me: fun, beautiful, emotional, wonderful. ... it's everything Disney represents...

Aubrey I am loving your Disney side!!! That scene you mentioned is one I love and it always makes me tear up - weird I know, but it's so pure and sweet!
I actually have 2 favorites that I think of - one is Cinderella when the Fairy God Mother poofs her into that gown! The other is when Aurora and Prince Phillip are dancing and then she leans over and puts her head on his shoulder. I love that, so sweet!

Disney rocks! What can I say:D It's probably the greatest cultural/media revolution that has ever taken place.
Those are great scenes too! Cinderella in her dress it a great Disney scene! It probably describes old school Disney best:)

I just read an article about Walt Disney on the Insider and it actually said that Cinderella scene was Walt's favorite! How wild is that???

I know it's not a scene but I instantly think of Mickey Mouse! Or sometimes I picture Tinkerbell flying around. Depends. :hehe:

Personally, I go with scenes from Fantasia. Especially the Hippos dancing with the Crocs. Seconf favorite screne is from Robin Hood with the parade of characters come in for the archery contest. I love the individuality of each character.

I agree, the first thing that comes to mind is Cinderella's Castle at Disneyland......but the scene with Belle and Beast dancing together usually follows!!

When I think Disney scene it is when peter pan agrees not to fly when fighting Hook and keeps his promise even when Hook tries to cheat. He then shows compassion to Hook when he wins, even though he knows that Hook will betray that compasion.
I also think of the scene showing Walts speach when he opens Disneyland for the first time, one of the greatest speaches ever.

I have to add this even though it is not technically on topic.
This morning my 4 yr old daughter and I were watching the 2nd disk of peter pan. We were watching the segment on why Walt made peter pan. I have told her who Walt Disney is. She points to him and says " Daddy I want to be like him when I grow up. He made all the movies and rides and I want to make them just like him." almost made me cry, okay it did it was just so sweet.
