Disneyland Resort Paris has two different parks, just like DL. There is the Disneyland Paris Theme Park, and the Walt Disney Studios Park. DL-Paris also has 7 Disney Resort hotels, Disney Village (an entertainment district with dining, shopping, game arcade, discos, concerts, etc), and Lake Disney.
You can learn more about DL-Paris from the official DL-Paris website:

DL-Paris is celebrating 15 years with many anniversary events starting April 1, 2007. For example, starting March 30, 2007, kids under 7 stay and play free!
Has anyone ever been to DL-Paris? Please share!!!

I know Laurie (Mum to Caelen) has been and I've sent her a message to come over here, she lives in Scotland. I know Zara really wants to go. I've posted a message for her too, may be just a few days because her internet connection has been down.

Thanks Shawna!
The current anniversary celebration and the specials makes me want to keep an eye out for a Paris e-saver! :) John and I have passports, guess I need to start working on Trey having one!

Lol - there ya go! You may have to wait until next year, the passport system has gotten pretty involved and it's not quick!!! Sounds pretty neat though!
I wonder if Kirsten has been, for some reason I think she has.

hi sue :)
yes i went to disney land in paris! it was 10 years ago and my school choir went to sing in the 5th birthday celebrations!!
unfortunatley we were only there for 1 day, and only 1 photo out of the entire spool came out (all of us outside the main gates).
i couldn't really tell you a huge amount, i imagine it's changed a bit since i went there - i never got to see Mickey (either out and about or behind the scenes) but i did see Pluto and he chased me down Main St! lol

Laurrie,
Sounds like you need to go back for the 15 year celebration and let us know about the changes! :)

Nope I haven't been but hubby has said we can go next year. Hopefully before the end of the 15th birthday celebrations so I will have to hold him to that and then I can let you all know what it is like.

Everyone on these forums are wonderful! :)
Laurrie...have you been to any other Disney park that would allow you to make comparisons?

Check this out guys - they have a sample itinerary on the official site for families with toddlers!

And even more Disney hotels than we have at Disneyland in CA!
I just checked and it's Sleeping Beauty Castle there too. I was so excited to see a different one, but this is beautiful too.
Great website pics - Small World looks really cool. The tea cups look to be under a canopy.

Sue (3/24/2007)[hr]Laurrie...have you been to any other Disney park that would allow you to make comparisons?
nope, afraid i've only ever been to disneyland paris- we've been looking into going to Florida, but it'll cost a lot so we're going to have to save

Well, save up enough to take Caelen to DL-Paris first, then you can go big time at WDW!!!

I was really surprised at how much this park offers. From previously publicity years ago it had sounded like there wasn't much to it. The castle and rides looked much more colorful too. Guess when you like in an area that beautiful with REAL castles, you have to do some things very differently.
I was trying to price out a trip to see the costs, but the server was down so I couldn't get the costs yet. I'll keep looking into it.
