Hosting Images

What's the policy on hosting images from this site? Maybe I missed it while reading the TOS.

I mean....err....
The pics we upload onto THIS site, are we alot to post them up on other boards or websites? Lol. I dont know how to explain.....
Ok, you know how some of us just copy and paste a pic from another website onto here as opposed to just uploading it straight from our comp? Are we allowed to do the same with the pictures here and put them up on another board?
I'm really just wondering, I have no plans to actually go and do it....at the moment...lol:hehe:

Well, not sure we have a real policy, but - if it's from a photo gallery - I'd say leave those alone (unless the person who took the pic is okay with you using it) or if someone is in them or took them - just a quick request to use their pic out of courtesy. For instance if you wanted to use one of mine (not sure why since they're all of Morgan...lol...), just let me know and I'd be fine with it. I know we did have a mom who wasn't happy that a photo of her child showed up here without her knowing it was being used, although she was still very nice about it.
The photos/icons/Disney stuff that Andy/Leanne has posted on the site - I'd say that's the site property, likely copyrighted, and not to use that elsewhere.
But, if someone posts something to share, it's been shared and not copyrighted, I'm not sure we could stop someone from doing that. Me personally - I'd still just ask the person if I could copy their pic. I think most people would enjoy that others are viewing their pics, but we have seen a few people who had their photos posted here (taken from elsewhere) and they didn't like that. It's not copyrighted so they aren't protected, but out of courtesy we have tried to honor those requests.

I'd prefer people do not 'hot link' to images on this forum. (or the website)
