Yes, I just got off the phone from booking our NEXT CRUISE!!! YIPPEE!!!
OK..here are the initial details:
Cruiseline: Norwegian Cruise Line
Boat: Norwegian Majesty
Itinerary: 11/17-11/24/07 Thanksgiving Week!
Sat: departs Charleston, SC
Sun and Mon: At Sea
Tues: Grand Cayman
Wed: Cozumel
Thu: Key West
Fri: At Sea
Sat: arrive to Charleston, SC
This is a smaller ship, hence the ability to go out of a smaller port like Charleston. It is going into refurb 3 weeks before we get onboard, so should be in nice shape. Here is the boat:

We are cruising with John's office staff...should be loads of fun! Now, NCL has freestyle cruising, which is new for us, so I am looking forward to trying this out. No formal nights required, so Sue is in sandals and flip flops all week..weehoo! :)
More details to follow!!! :)

Jeez, now I'm totally jealous - but I sure am happy for you!!! Thanksgiving??? Now is this a couples thing or do the kidlets go along for this cruise? You've got to explain freestyle to me too - I'm ignorant on cruises!

Sorry for the delay in responding...we went to the mountains for the Easter weekend.
No kidlets! Trey goes to grandparent camp while we cruise! Thanksgiving is not a huge holiday for our family (other than making a big dinner), so it isn't like we are missing Xmas! :)
On a typical cruise, there are 2 dinner times..early and late seating (ie 6pm and 8pm). Freestyle cruising means there are a bunch of different type of places to eat (some require surcharge, some do not, some require reservations, some do not), and you pick when and where you eat every meal every day. Also, all formal nights are optional, so as long as you don't wear shorts or jeans, you can be in the dining room every night regardless! :)

Never been to Key West, so this is new for us!
We are only there at night for a few hours...so not sure what we will do! There are a few bar crawls, a sunset catamaran...but I am thinking we can wander by ourselves? What do you think Kristi?

Boy I could tell you stories about Key West. So only evening hmm start off with the Sunset Celebration at Mallory Square and you will have to walk down Duvall St. Nice shopping and great entertainment.
We have been to the Lighthouse & Keepers Quarters aka Ship Wreckers Museum. It was ok kinda neat to go up in the Lighthouse. They also have an aquarium. Then there is the glass bottom boats always neat. Also Hemingway's house is there with his famous 6 toed cats. That was kinda neat to see. There is also Trolley Tours that take you around Key West. Oh and you can't forget the Southernmost Point. But if they offer kayaking in the managroves, skip it been there and done that and was no fun. If they offer snorkeling do it beautiful. We have also done one of the guided tours taking you out to see wild dolphins I would save your money. Because animals in the wild are very unpredictable.
But Key West is so much fun. We spent a week there at my Uncle's between Christmas and New Years it was a hoot. Then we went back on our cruise for our honeymoon.
