THE LITTLE MERMAID!!!!

Hi Everyone,
I loooooooooove The Little Mermaid movies. I went to the video hire shop and borrowed the original DVD of The Little Mermaid and I also got The Little Mermaid II - Return to the sea! They are both really awesome movies, I can't stop watching them.
Anyway, in the adverts on the movies, they showed a sneak peak of something that they said is soon to come on Disney DVD! The Little Mermaid III (they didn't say the title, they just said The Little Mermaid III). I am so excited and can hardly wait to see it.
I think Ariel, Eric and Melody are such a cute lovely little family. :)

III is due out here sometime soon, I missed what date they said but I heard it on Radio Disney about a month ago - so I know it's got to be soon!

Thank you for the information, Shawna! I can hardly wait for the release of Little Mermaid III to be released here in Australia! I wouldn't miss it for the world! :D
Did the news information say anything about it? Does Ariel become a person again? (I thought she was a person since II but the preview I saw - she was a mermaid). Are Melody and Eric on it? Oh and by the way, Is Ariel's voice still played by Jodi Benson(?) I thought she sounded a little bit different in the preview.

I haven't heard that much about part III but I will look into it and see if I can find out who is doing the voice of Ariel.

Thank you, Katie! I hope you will have some luck (I tried looking into TLM III but had no luck) but that's not odd, I hardly have much luck with reasearchy stuff. I ususally look in the wrong places! :hehe: :P LOL! Thanks again!

A good place to look for movie information is IMdB.com(internet movie database). According to the cast list, Jodi Benson is still the voice of Ariel. It is supposed to be released sometime in 2008--it looks like we'll have to wait awhile for this one!

In watching the Little Mermaid today I noticed something. She was 16. So now, I'm retinking if I like this movie or not. King Neptune had every right to be upset with her and perhaps Prince Eric is not the stoic prince, but older man looking for a young girl...or maybe I'm just confusing my "To Catch a Predator" Stories...

My daughter is a HUGE Little Mermaid fan - especially of 'LM2' ('Little Mermaid 2') - she loves Melody! We saw the preview for 'LM3' (I believe it was on the 'Cinderella 3' DVD? Not 100% sure...) and it looked to us like it will be about when Ariel was still a mermaid and we assume that means that Melody will not be in it! Which is a shame since my Emily completely adores the character of Melody! Quite honestly I don't know why they ever even had Ariel have a daughter in 'LM2' because they never really acknowledge her again after that movie...! Anyone else feel this way? We're looking forward to 'LM3', though!

I have not seen LM2, so can't make a judgement, but I know people were talking previously about LM3 in here somewhere :) (Sorry, I am brain dead at the moment and close to sleepwalking. lol).
Hopefully someone more enlightened can answer your question!
