Day 5 Tuesday-Our AnniversaryWe started the morning off by going to MGM Studios. Upon arrival we got our fast passes for Tower of Terror and Trey had no anxiety about going on. I however told Troy that Kyan was too little still for this ride. So while we waited for our fast pass tickets to be good. We went in to see the Voyage of the Little Mermaid. Excellent show like always and Kyan just loved it. I didn?t remember all the ?raining? to portray that we was under the water though. I remembered the sprinkle but not a constant rain at the beginning. After the ride we still had 45 minutes so we met Goofy and Minnie and then caught Playhouse Disney. Then we went on Tower of Terror we had quite a wait in the fast pass line and after the ride Trey decided he didn?t want to go on it again. But when we caught up with Troy and Kyan he decided to go again with his dad. Troy said halfway through the line he started chickening out but he went on it. Then we went over to use our fast passes for Star Tours. Kyan wasn?t able to go on again she wasn?t tall enough. Then after Kyan?s meltdown we went to have lunch at the Backlot Express. Not bad normal counter service. After lunch it was time for Lightning McQueen and Mator. We walked up and got in line and then the cast member cut the line off. Boy we timed that just right. This was so cute and neat. Daddy and Trey especially loved it. It was getting hot so we starting making our way back out of the park. But we stopped to have the kids picture taken next to Herbie and under the ?Singing in the Rain? umbrella.
Back at the hotel for a swim and a nap and then back up to be at dinner at Epcot for our anniversary. We arrived at the Garden Grill restaurant and was sitted immediately. This is the restaurant in Epcot that rotates through the different scenery of the Living with the Land ride. You move very slowly and don?t even notice you are moving. The food here was great. We had a salad with rolls and then was served turkey, flank steak, and catfish, with cheesy potatoes and veggies. The kids had chicken strips, fries, and mac and cheese. It was an all you care to eat meal and we requested more of the potatoes and turkey. The catfish was a little mushy for my likes. While we was eating we was visited by Farmer Mickey, Chip and Dale and Pluto. The characters make great time around the restaurant and we saw them all twice except Dale. Pluto was by three times though. Dessert was great Troy and I had a cream pastry with berries on top and the kids had make your own cupcakes. This was a hit for the kids. After dinner Troy was staring off to the right of our table and I turn to see what had caught his attention and when I turned back around there was a jewelry box in front of me. When I opened it there was gold mickey mouse earrings with my birth stone in the centers. I loved them and put them on. We was at the Garden Grill for about an hour and 15 minutes. Everyone enjoyed this one.
After dinner we went off to get our bracelets for late stay and went immediately to the new Nemo ride. It was a walk on and I loved it. It was so neat. We then caught Turtle Talk and then went to ride Living with the Land which the kids thought was neat because we saw all the scenery earlier. Time for Imagination with Figment. This is a ride from my childhood that I remember and just love it so it?s a must do every trip down. Spaceship Earth which Trey wanted to do again but I convinced them to the World Showcase for the rides there. Once back we noticed Soarin only had a 30 minutes wait but when we got there it said 45. Troy really wanted to go so I said let?s wait. We got in line with the kids and Kyan was tall enough this time, go figure. It was midnight by the time we got off the ride and we was exhausted. So back to the hotel.
