I was thinking the other day of whose soundtracks I have enjoyed the most... I have to say I have really liked the music from:
Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Tarzan, Brother Bear and Lilo and Stitch

Great topic Carole !!! I love the Lilo & Stitch soundtrack, but we also saw that for the first time after we got back from Hawaii, so it was very fresh in our minds & made us all want to go back !!
I also enjoyed The Little Mermaid & Beauty & the Beast, but to be honest with you, I've never seen Tarzan & don't really remember the music from Brother Bear. My all time favorite would still have to go back to the Jungle Book.....that one always pops into mind when thinking about Disney movies. I also find myself singing "Make way......for Prince Ali......" (Aladdin)
My favorite here would have to be the Aladdin soundtrack, and yes, I actually own it. lol
And yes dreamer, that is my all time favorite song from Aladdin.
So, those of you who love the song, be sure to see Aladdin at Disney's California Adventure. You are in for a wonderful sound and site with that show. It is incredible!

We have the Aladdin soundtrack as well. I like the music, but we think the movie would have been quite a bit better without all the pop icon references the genie does in it. Like when Sarah is a teen, none of those will make any sense....
Anyways.. just our little beef with Robin <img src='images/emotions/wink.gif' height='20' width='20' border='0' title='Wink' align='absmiddle'>

I think my favorite is from the Little Mermaid...but I LOVE Outcasts from Hunchback. I also like some of the songs from the Heffalump movie! Although I keep hearing the line "Do you have any rumpledoodles" over and over in my head (my daughter has watched it about ten times in the past week!)
Did you get the recipe for rumpledoodles? I can't remember if it is online or at the end of the video, I just remember hearing it was available.

I think I saw it on the Heffalump site...I was going to start a Lumpy board actually...so I'll get it now.

I'm trying to build up my collection of Disney movie soundtracks. I absolutely love these! I don't think there are any I don't like -- LOL!
The one from "Cars" is really cool too!

Tink (11/7/2006)[hr]Rena, how is the Cars soundtrack? Is it mostly country music? I can't remember what songs were in the movie. lolLeanneIt's a great soundtrack! Not all country either; it has some southern rock and 50s style music in it as well. If you go to iTunes, you can hear samples there. Sometimes Amazon lets you hear samples too. There are 2 versions of "Route 66", which is great!I love all of the soundtracks from the Disney movies. I'm trying to build up my collection with the entire soundtracks and not just a song or two. The one from "Lilo & Stitch" is a favourite too, especially for the Elvis stuff.
We just watched Cars again tonight, and your right, it is a great soundtrack! I may have to get that one. lol

Lol Leanne - No! No shopping until after Christmas! (Then we'll go together...hehe)
It's not Disney, but I couldn't live without My Fair Lady music, I love those songs.
For Disney, the Little Mermaid has the most amazing music - perfection!
