Is anyone else having problems with having to re-log in when you want to post or pm? I was just replying to a post and then went to reply to another and I had to re-log on.....just seeing if it's me, my computer or what.

No problems here. I did have some in the distant past, but once I set it up to auto-log me in when I entered the site, I've not experienced it.
I have been having those problems as well.
Danette, are you keeping your page open from the time you log for hours, then go to post something?
I had this discussion with Andy because it happens to me more often than not, but has never happened to him. Of course, he is not on as much as I am.
Now that you have posted here I will make sure he is aware it is not just me.
Oh, and I also know coming soon will be another upgrade to our boards, so maybe that will help!

If you sit long enough without doing something then it will log you off (unless you have auto logon turned on). Once you are logged off you will not notice anything until you hit some function that requires a login.
Also... if you sit too long typing in a post you might be logged off. You won't know until you hit 'Post Reply' then it is too late. I've gotten in the habit also highlighting and 'Control C'ing my posts before hitting 'Post Reply' just in case.
As Tink said... I'm working on an upgrade to the forums. I will see if I can bump up the time limit before you are logged out.

Ok... I had this happen to me and I think I know what causes it.
I logged in... but after logging in I "Backed" until I got to where I originally was instead of clicking another link.
I think using the browser 'Back' button to back over the login screen causes the forums to log you back out.

Well, I've done both. At first I noticed it did it when I hit the back button so I stopped doing that (see, sometimes I pay enough attention to what I'm actually doing and have a stroke of genius!! :D ).
But the staying too long with the page open without doing anything, that I'm totally guilty of. Some of the times I log on I'm at work and have to stop in middle of a post or browsing to, you know, actually do work!! LOL
Maybe I'll just set it up to auto-log in, didn't think of that.
lol And we can't auto login because we both use this computer as our main one.

Oh jeeze! Wish I had four (well, at least a second computer!), then Jake wouldn't always be asking me to look up things for him while I'm on here!! LOL I'm actually lookin' at getting a desktop shortly after getting to FL.

Good - that's what I do too. I think we've had so many upgrades that we don't see this one anymore. More to come though, stay tuned to the site, you're gonna see some neat stuff!!!
i used to have to log in again after posting, but not anymore
i think it fixed itself?? lol
