Cars Preorder from Disneyshopping.....BEWARE

I just wanted to warn all of you that have been waiting for Cars to be on DVD. It is scheduled to be out in early November (the 4th if I remember right).
DisneyShopping.com is offering a 10.00 gift card toward your next purchase on their site if you preorder.
I went to do this today and was totally shocked at the $8.50 shipping/handling fee! I wanted you all to be aware of this. This is a video we should easily be able to pick up at local stores without having to pay this huge fee to ship so don't do this unless you don't care how much you pay.

I hadn't seen this until now, and was just getting ready to go order some of my Disney movies on-line! Sheesh! So you basically get a gift card for about a dollar (since that's what shipping actually should cost for the weight of one DVD...), now how silly is that?!

Actually if you really want to save some $$$, wait until 1st or 2nd week of December and get one at your local video store (previously viewed but still in good condition.) You can get your movie and use it as a Christmas present and will have saved about half your original cost!

there should be no waiting needed. When this DVD comes out, your local Target or Walmart will sell it for between 15 and 20.00. I just paid $16.99 for the Wild (not great).

What I meant was, if you wanted to wait and save even more - pay for it used at the video store and get it for $10 or less!
