OK, so we did not leave as early as we should have and we have some serious stress making the gate in time. But we did and the flight was fine. We arrived in Orlando at 1:30. It took quite awhile for our luggage to get off the belt. That was a bummer. We had arranged for Fleetwood transportation to come and get us. Off we went to Shades of Green.
All I can say about SOG is WOW! It is incredible. The room is huge. Once we got checked in and bought our Disney tickets we went to Downtown Disney.
We had 5:00 reservations at Rainforest Cafe. We waited about 15 minutes and were seated. The only bad thing I can say is that our appetizer came AFTER our food. The food was delish!
We went to World of Disney and had about 20 minutes of yelling, "Molly! "Gabe!" "Stay with me." It is huge!
We had some trouble with the shuttle to get back to the hotel. SOG has its own bus, but one of the Disney drivers said he could take us. Well, what happened was we went to the Polynesian and then walked up the street to SOG. No worries!
We took a quick dip in the pool and now we are off to bed. We have reservations with some princesses in the morning.

Cat, I am glad you finally made it there. I was thinking it may be quicker for you to catch the monorail from the Polynesian to go to Epcot or MK instead of buses.

Sounds like a rocky start...but turning great! :) Anxiously awaiting day 2!!!
Leanne, Shades of Green is a Military only hotel...not a "Disney Property" but they still get great Disney treatment. The least we can do for Military people and their families!!! I thank you all. ;)
