Day 6 ? May 15th

Today we started out at <st1:place><st1:PlaceName>Magic <st1:PlaceType>Kingdom. The kids wanted their face painted so we did that in Toontown first. Then we rode a few of the rides but today was crowded. We did a few in Fantasyland, <st1:place><st1:PlaceName>Haunted <st1:PlaceType>Mansion, <st1:place><st1:PlaceName>Big <st1:PlaceName>Thunder <st1:PlaceType>Mountain, TTA, Monster?s Inc. We ate lunch at Cosmic Rays. We rode the Monorail in the front of the car to Epcot and got off to catch the bus back to the hotel to swim. We just ate dinner at the hotel. We went over to Hollywood Studios and got in The Magic of Disney Animation. Since there were only 4 families in the theater during the drawing segment, the artist gave each of us a picture he drew while we sat there. We got a picture of Dopey. We rode Star Tours again and did some shopping, then back for bed.

Today the weather was hot and cloudy in the afternoon. The crowds were bad today at both parks. We had to wait a long time for the bus because it was crowded. The funniest thing today was the faces that Joshua made all day since he was made up as a tiger. the best thing today was riding in the front of the Monorail, the views of the hotels were great. The most magical moment was getting our picture of Dopey.

Day 7 ? May 16th

This was our park hopping, shopping day. We ate breakfast at the hotel then got the bus to Animal Kingdom. We did a bit of shopping and rode Everest for the final time. We also watched the Finding Nemo musical. We went over to <st1:place><st1:PlaceName>Magic <st1:PlaceType>Kingdom for a last ride on TTA and Buzz Lightyear. We had lunch at Cosmic Rays again. Then we got on the Monorail and headed over to Epcot. We walked around a bit and did some shopping. We rode a few rides. Then we had dinner at Le Cellier. This was great! The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was fantastic. The best thing was that we were seated in the <st1:State><st1:place>Prince Edward Island section. This is where Guy?s family comes from. He?s always dreamed of going there to see his roots. It was just neat getting this table by chance. After we ate we went Downtown to get our annual caricature done. By the time that was over it was getting late. Guy and Joshua took the picture back to the hotel while Brittany and I rode the ferry back to Epcot. We walked around <st1:country-region><st1:place>England and <st1:country-region><st1:place>Canada. Then over to meet up with Guy. We rode Nemo one last time, and Soarin one last time. We had to wait forever for Soarin! By the time it was over it was really late. We went to walk around World Showcase, but we didn?t get very far before everything started to close. We still walked around the whole thing but we missed a ton since it was dark and the stores were closing. We need to go back just for World Showcase! We headed back to the hotel to fall into bed.

Park hopping from place to place takes a lot of time! I wish we?d figured out the tricks to the transportation system earlier! Today the weather was really hot and humid. The best thing and most magical thing was sitting in the <st1:State><st1:place>Prince Edward Island section. The worst thing were the crowds and the line for Soarin.

Where is that bottom picture taken? We're planning on a lot of time in Epcot and the World Showcase, of course that's where the food and wine will be! LOL Of course it'll just be myself and Jake, no little ones that we have to think of and work around their schedules. In all honestly, aside from our cruise, this will most likely be the last trip we take without kids so I plan on getting in as much as we can!

The last picture is at Le Cellier. It's in Canada. World Showcase is awesome..and we really looked around at night! I can't wait to go back and see it during the day!

Loved J's face - that was great! What a day - park hopping like that. I think the most we will do in a day are two parks. lol

hahah Canada at the world showcase is ridiculous! They make us look like we have totem poles at every corner and penguins. lol! i walked into the store and talked to the guy that worked there, he said that it was supposed to be "18th Century Canada" but that gives a bad perception of us :p we are not all native! haha

Okay I have to ask how long did the face painting last? The kids have wanted to have it done but I didn't think it would last long or at least worth the money.

Yeah, it was expensive at $15 per child! It lasted until we went swimming. It would have lasted all day. The hardest part was keeping J from scratching at it while it dried. Once it dried (about 15 minutes) even rubbing his face it stayed on. It took quite a bit of rubbing with the wet washcloth before getting in the pool to get it off. I say it's worth it if you do it in the morning! ;) The kids really got lots of attention from cast members and visitors all day. Lots of growls at Joshua's tiger. :)

Wow - so once it dries you can rub it? I am always itching my face, or have hands on my face (mine or Alex's) or what not. That could be fun to have my face painted!
How long does it take to paint?

Yes, it lasted a long time! You can even scratch your nose (why is it that when you have your face painted that's the only place that just totally itches??). It really took rubbing with a wet rag to get it off! It took all of 5 minutes. They were so quick it was amazing to watch! :)

Thanks so much - maybe Alex and I will have that done.
