Our Whirlwind trip to WDW ? Final Thoughts

Regrets:
We never had a chance to meet Stephen (DisneyDad)
I didn?t get the Star Wars Parade taped
We never saw High School Musical
We didn?t have enough time to see everything.
Never made it to Downtown Disney

Highlights:
Star Wars Weekends
Meeting Adrienne
The last bus trip to the hotel with our new friends from Gay Days
Alex meeting R2D2
Riding Toy Story Mania
Mickey?s Philharmagic
Tomorrowland Transit Authority
SpectroMagic
The Beauty of Animal Kingdom

We had a wonderful, yet short trip. Sure I was in pain the whole time, and the heat was miserable, but frankly I have never had so much fun being miserable!

Each of the four parks have something all their own, and very special. Animal Kingdom felt the least Disney of them all. It was also the most beautiful of the parks.

<st1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Cinderella <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">Castle is impressive, but in my opinion, too big.

No dead ends ? gotta love it!

It was all new to us and we made the most of it. I know it seems like we didn?t do much but really we did, and enjoyed it.

We are hoping to go back in October of 2009! We plan to stay longer then, and Andy will be with us the whole trip.

It'll be cooler in Oct as well! LOL I'll let you know how the temp is when we go, keep in mind we're sleeping pretty much outside so I'll definitely be able to give an accurate temp description! I'm glad you had fun on your short trip. At least you can say you've been now.:D

You'll like the crowd level and temps in October. If you go the last few days in October and stay for the first few days in November you'll get to experience two different seasons. Evening of October 31st all the Halloween decorations come down, and the next day you'll find the parks full of Christmas trees and holiday decor. It's really pretty cool! :)

I don't know how they can get so much done overnight, but the transformation is amazing to see.

Elaine, in your opinion what park has the best Christmas stuff. When we are there this time, our second week is 1.5 hours away from Disney but for a fraction more we can buy a 14 day ticket so maybe I can convince hubby to let me go back to Disney to see Christmas on one of the days in our second week.

That's a tough question. MK is beautiful. Epcot center has a Country specific Santa that visit's each country and talks about the Christmas customs and reads a story.
The Studios has something very cool! It's the Osbourne family lights. They light up the streets of New York and blow fake snow from the roofs. They just do this at night and it is amazing. Every inch of every building is covered in lights.

I would say AK would not have the least amount of Xmas decor.

okay Cinderella's castle is so big because it houses the suite and also the restaurant. Next time you will have to schedule a meal there. The food is so good

Me, schedule a meal at the Royal Table? I would love too, but won't put my boys through that. lol
Thanks for the beautiful pic Elaine. We love Disneyland at Christmas. I one day hope to see WDW at Christmas too.
