cannot log in to forums with new password

Help, I cannot log in. I did the lost password and entered my user name and new password but I keep getting username or password incorrect every time.

request the "forgot my password"
All the passwords were deleted and you have to request first and then login and then you can change it. Good Luck

I already tried that. It won't accept the new password that was sent to me or it isn't recognizing my user name anymore. Will try lost password again and see if a different password will work. I hate to reregister and start over here but may have to do that.
